On our world trip with baby we spent four days in Valencia. It is such a gorgeous international city, with great historic monuments, a lively beach and picturesque streets. However, all that does not compensate for a view on breathtaking mountains or on a lonely beach. Ironically, our next stop will be in the middle of nowhere in a hippie house.
In Valencia we had a very nice big 4-room apartment between the city centre and the beach. It was newly renovated and tasteful furnished.
Cost incl. fees: 76 €
As you can see below, we still enjoyed being there and four days was just the perfect time to stay. Our baby nomad was tolerating the heat quite well. Besides a few stomach ache we had no health issues at all.
Despite its size, even in Valencia you may find some peaceful places if you are on a world trip with baby. For us it was taking a sundowner at one of the chiringuitos (Spanish beach bar) at the northern end of the Malvarrosa Beach:
Finally, the beach promenade was perfect to go for a run with the pram!
